Projecting a Bright Future
The Electricity Sector Council was created in 2005 in response to rising concern about the sustainability of a strong and skilled electricity and renewable energy industry workforce in Canada. Working in partnership with dedicated stakeholders from industry, business, goverment, labour and education, not to mention the millions of Canadians who have an interest in keeping the lights on in Canada, the Council has designed a number of programs and projects to ensure Canada maintains a strong, vibrant and safe electricity and renewable energy workforce now and in the future.
